Hello All
I hope this is the correct place to post this and is allowed.
I am in the process of replacing our (nearly) 20 year old boiler and have 3 quotes but would like the thoughts of you professionals
Option 1... Vokera Vision 30C £1350
Option 2... Ideal Logic Plus 30 £1540
Option 3... Worcester Bosch 30i £2122
All are supply and fit, plus filter and 7yr warranty
Thoughts please.

Ideal logic+ with filter and scale protection. I'm assuming it's just a combi boiler direct replacement?

Option 2 very competitive but unless existing boiler is combi, I would stay with heat only.

Thank you all for the quick replies
My current one is a very old combi boiler, which never had a condensate outlet, so these quotes all included either a pump to get it up to the gutter or a pipe straight out to the ground.
I read a forum slating the Ideal Logic earlier (granted it was about 8 years ago) then read a forum praising it from more recent... So, going for the Ideal logic maybe best value?? I keep hearing the Worcester should have a good 13 or more years life, the rest 8 or 9 years...

Where abouts in the country are you? Those prices are very low, just interested.

I would say the life expectancy of most modern boilers is about 15 years. Ideal have upped there game and a 7 year warranty is fantastic.

I feel that Worcester are resting on their former glories, I just dont like fitting their new boilers

LOL it is a Ferroli Optima 701, was put in by the council... to be fair, we have had boiler cover and have REALLY had our moneys worth out of that, the thing has practically been replaced buit by bit

A 20 year old Ferrolli?! That's a museum piece!

GasmanxxxR1 I am in Glasgow... and yes most fitters tend to say Worcester are good but you are paying for the name

LOL... Yes it's quite ancient...two of the guys who quoted were oohing and aahing when they seen it

Do those prices include a power flush? If not and you haven't had one recently, look into it.
