As title says, The boiler makes a high pitched noise when any hot tap is being ran, If the tap is turned down the noise gets less and less. The only change that has been done is the washing machine being changed. No idea if that would do that. If the cold and hot are being ran together noise is less.

I'm not a plumber and I'm not going to mess around with the boiler, just want a heads up on what it could be before plumber gets here etc.

Thought i should add the noise is only when taps are being ran with or with-out central heating on.

Thank you for reading any help is very great full.

How long ago was boiler installed?

When running the hot tap feel te pipes below boiler. When looking at the boiler there are 5 or more copper pipes. Either side of te central one there are two similar sized pipes . Which one heats up with the hot tap on right or left? Really this is a warranty issue for your installer and or ideal.

Thats what they all say but as your not registered to work on gas we cannot give out advice. Its not being crappy . Its for your own safety. Call in a gassafe engineer.

I would get your plumber back out who installed it, we had the same problem. All sorted now. Ours was like a high pitched squeal.... deafening! Hope you get it sorted.

The engineer u call in will be-able to diagnos it quite easilly. Or put a post on this forum lookin for a GSR engineer and surely one of the talented guys on here can help u. Hope u have luck matt.

i would call ideal if its still under warranty, if not, get somebody from here to pay you a visit. :)
