Hi, Our boiler sits at 1-1.5 bar cold. Its a veisman 100W.
It seems to be running at 85-90C central heating temp, with the pressure up at 3,0 bar, then shuts off. The only way to then restart it is to turn the dial around to the right for 2s and reset it. I think this then shows the SERV icon. Is it normal for it to run at 90C even when the temp dial is not set to maximum? Isnt this a bit hot?
Could this be due to air in the system, there was a heater that was replaced which required the heating drained down and refilled. Any help appreciated. Reading up some other threads mention an expansion vessel fault. Im assuming this requires a service by a veismann guy (or at least a plumber that is familiar with these boillers.
The water seems to work fine.
Thanks,

Doesn't the Serv indicate that the boiler is in service mode as used by contractors accessed after a reset, ie having been reset. Also says this in the guide.
Are you familiar with the veismann?
