Just a quick question to gauge whether I should be concerned regarding boiler pressure.

Model is an Ideal Icos HE24. In its resting state the pressure seems steady at around 0.6 bar. After it's been on for a while it seems to plateau at around 1.3.

Afraid I'm not much kop at plumbing matters. I understand that between 1 and 2 bar is considered healthy, but does this just refer to when the boiler is firing or should that be around the clock?

I cannot see any obvious signs of leakage in the system, but then so much that goes on is unseen.

Many thanks for any advice.

I usually set boilers at 1.2 bar that gives me a bit of play should there be air in the system and the auto vent bleeds it out.

when water is heated it expands so the volume goes up increasing your pressure once it has cooled again it should revert back to the standing charge that was in place originally

1.2 is good, but better to suggest 1 bar and by the time the filling loops turned off its prob going to end up at 1.2 :)
