Combi boiler central heating does not fire but hot water does... Help!

Hi all,

I have an ariston combi boiler on a salus electric thermostat. Hot water current runs through fine but when the thermostat is telling the boiler to activate the heating it fires up then dies.

I have tried the following:
- increasing pressure (currently just under 2)
- bleeding the radiators
- resyncing the thermostat with the receiver (the light goes green when the heating is supposed to be coming on)

is is there anything else I can try? All advice gratefully received.

Not a lot more you can do, you've gone through the basics, its time to get an engineer in
