Hi
My combi boiler has started to overheat, its a ravenheat 820, it happens both on the central heating with rads getting too hot and also trying just opening the hot tap, after a short while it cuts the flame out.
I know there are 2 individual adjustment knobs at the front which have thermostats in them, however because its happening on both heating and hot tap i am thinking that it could be either of the 2 main thermostats that has gone, one is a high limit and the other is connected to the thermocouple. I may be totally wrong in my diagnosis, but from the info that i have given here, if it is the thermostat, can anyone please tell me which thermostat is likely to be the faulty one.
many thanks
