After you manually overide the room stat by adjusting the temperature greater than the room at that time. With a combi boiler If I turn the hot tap on and off will the heating remember the commands that I've made with room stat and continue for the heating to come on until the room stat is satisfied.
can some one explain as I'm a bit confused.
thanks

Weird question buddy, but yes once the water need is satisfied then the boiler will revert to heating if required

Room stat doesn't have any affect on the hot water and the hot water wont have any effect on the CH / room stat

Well hot water will always take presidence so if you have the heating off and run a bath then the ch will remain off until you finish running the bath

and then the heating will continue to remain off once the bath is run until you turn it on manually or the programmer switches it on
