Hi Guys,

House renovation so insulation everywhere

Customer has got 10 radiators, 3 towel radiators, UFH Kitchen/Dining room, Study split in to 3 zones (6 loops)

210 ltr unvented all external controls, split in to three zones.

Boiler installed vailant 428.

do you think this is big enough?

What are rad outputs and floor area for UFH ? assuming Rads are correct size for heat losses

Its how long is a piece of string boiler 30 Kws why can't you work it out you have all the radiators sizes etc, take the UFH at around 75 watts/m2 and see what you come up with.

when you say customer has 10 rads etc..... has he/she brought the materials and sized the system/rads?

if so just fit what they have brought under the understnading that you can not warranty the materials and the design/ spec of the system.

if your being paid to design and supply the system the boiler sizing should be a simple calculation of adding up your designed heat losses and a small allowance for your cylinder.
