Hi,

not sure whether to call in engineers yet. Sometimes in the morning heating does not come on and i have to turn boiler off and on and then it comes on. Pressure is 0.6 or 0.7 and used to be aboutr 0.9. there is also a running water sound as well sometimes which i never used to have. Does anyone have any ideas or should i just get British Gas to do a service/ I am hoping its not dangerous. Thanks for any advice :smiley2:

is your room stat turned up enough to make it come on? if you have a service contract, give them a call, dont let them sell you a new boiler or have a power flush though, seek advice of an independant engineer before spending any money.

Top up the pressure. Never let BG in the house or your bank account. Get a local engineer round. Glowworm are not the best boilers, BG will instantly start sales patter as you open the door, and the service will most probably not be to the manufacturers specification . As it's a glow worm so make sure you tell the prospective engineer the make and model as some of them need a burner gasket to facilitate the service!

Thanks. No problem with the thermostat. I do have a contract with BG but will make sure they do not try and sell me another boiler!
