Hi my boiler is just under 3 years old & has been regularly serviced. Last time was November. Someone coming to see it on Tuesday but would like some input as to what is causing my problems to confirm what the engineer says.
I noticed the other day that the pressure relief pipe outside was dripping & also the condenser pipe. Had a look at the boiler & pressure was down near zero, repressed to just over 1. When my heating came on it shot up to over 3, then settled just over 2. When heating went off I kept an eye on it & noticed that within an hour pressure back down to near zero. I understand may be a problem with expansion vessel or pressure relief but why would the condensing pipe also be dripping?. I don't want the engineer to just put air in the expansion as a quick fix if my problems suggest something else. Thanks for any input.
