Hi guys I've just condemned a ideal minimiser he system boiler with a vertical flue I'm going to replace it with a ideal independent he combi no can I reuse the flue as it's a HE ???

What? Re use a flue? Give yourself a shake.
No no no I was trying to find out as it was a ideal HE boiler would the flue fit a new HE boiler I wouldn't do it was going to change it but finding out if they had changed much as the old one is a HE and the new one is a HE. That's all

I don't think it's come accord right tbh I just wanted to no if the flue had changed much from the minimiser HE to the indpendant HE that's all I would never reuse a flue

yes it's changed. Sizewise it may be the same but the inner on the minimiser was metal instead of plastic on the modern flues. You may get away with re using the flashing.

Yes. Most of the early condensing flues had aluminium inner flues. Ideal only swapped over to plastic a few years ago.

Whatever, rr, trying to save a few quid are we?

I've used tumble drier hose before because I put the boiler where the tumble drier used to be.
