Ideal isar boiler fault

Hi all

got the above bloody boiler was working fine did a boiler service and it won't fire up on heating or hot water now! The display is flashing 0 (the normal display when the boiler is not working) then flashes up with 3 lines and back to 0

it wont do a thing even if you turn it off, not had this fault before.

No fault code in the book so any idears??

That's an overheat fault.

Ok thanks bud how cone it doesent say anything in the book! Is there any way to reset the overheat stat??

Because ideal didn't want to tell you all the tricks.

Was it a real service - top off and wash or was it a fifty second swoosh? Normally get -- 00 when pumps been changed or dry fire.

Nope full service strip down burner new burner seal cleaned condence trap and sump ect ect that's why I thought it was strage to get the over heat stat playing up

Did you drain the boiler? These are prone to getting air trapped behind the pump stopping it, vent the pump and check its getting 240v
