Hi I'm just wondering of anyone can help.

I've moved into my first flat (which I rent) two months ago and it has an Ideal Logic combi + boiler.

I've had problems with getting hot water, especially in the kitchen hot tap where sometimes the boiler doesn't even light when I turn it on. When I get in from work I would have to turn the shower on to trigger the boiler before I could get any in the kitchen. I reset the boiler recently and that has reduced, although the pump overrun kicks in before the water gets hot when I first put the kitchen tap on but is fine after that.

Then today I tried the heating for the first time, which is underfloor using a model called JG PRT-E, and despite being on for hours it never reached my requested temp of 22 degress instead each thermostat would stay between 19-20. It sounded like it was working but the boiler wasn't firing according to the light on the front. I tried it in summer and winter modes but it wouldn't fire on either setting.

I did notice that when the heating was on the pressure guage on the boiler dropped from 1.5 bar to about 0.5 but when I turned the heating off it instantly went back to 1.5.

I've never stayed anywhere with a combi before and I don't know if any of this is normal for this type of system and I don't want to annoy my landlord if it's just me being a numpty.

Hi , just annoy the landlord its his problem, if you touch it you could finish up paying the bill
