I'm buying a property and the AGA and boiler flues go into the chimney. Because both are old I'm being told I'm going to have replace the boiler and AGA before I rent the property out because (i) the current flues are not satisfactory given they go into the chimney, and (ii) the flues can't be amended because of the age of the products.

Any advise gratefully received!
