How many of you guys are affected by the changes to LEZ in January?

I'm looking to buy a van in the next couple of months so thought I'd check the area covered as I can't afford to pay the £100 per day charge if I fall foul of it.

What I'm unsure of is if smaller vans are affected?

anything under 1.2 tonnes unladen wieght isnt affected this is up to the vw t4 size you can check by entering the reg in the checker on the tfl website

wouldnt it just be old rust buckets that are affected ? If your van is new and has an EGR valve fitted then it should be fine.

It will affect any van registered before January 2002 - so yes only the older vans but as I'm on a tight budget I'm looking at older vans!!!

As to the size does it cover transit size vans?
