Hello,

I'm a compelte novice when it comes to DIY.

Hot water tap on Bath isn't great whereas the cold tap shoots water out like a fire hose!

The basin taps are different - the hot water comes gushing out of the hot tap fine but you have to turn the cold tap a few times before anything comes out, then a slight turn further brings the cold gushing out like the bath cold. Does this just mean new taps are needed?

Something to note is the taps on the bath move about a bit, I have had them tightened in the past before but they have just over 12 months loosened back up again.

Thanks for help in advance.

Taps need overhaul probably with anti turn washers fitted and good quality top hat washers. The bath tap may be faulty or the flow looks slower on the bath because the tap is bigger than the basins.
