I have recently bought a holiday let property in Windermere with a view to using it for myself and family when it's not rented out. I soon discovered I had an awkward neighbour in the flat below who reckons the heating keeps him awake at night if it's on after 10:30pm and has made 'threats' if it's not switched off at 10:30pm. I have the timer set to switch the heating off at 10:30pm but clearly the guests can override this.

I have therefore been considering replacing the boiler for a quieter one. I don't think it's particularly noisey but my sister's Vaillant is certainly quieter. The fact that the current one is a Ferroli F30 also is tempting me to get it replaced with something with a long guarantee.

I've been scanning this forum and like the sound of the Ideal+ or Vogue range. Then I found this section... instead of waiting for the boiler to fail or the neighbour to explode I thought I would prepare myself for a replacement.

Are there any plumbers in the Windermere area who could pop in an do a quote? Thanks.
