I have no cold water in the bathroom, to sink, bath, toilet but do have hot water. Have had a plumber up and he checked all valves were opened and thinks it might be turned of from next door, it is a tennement flat and the bathrooms are back to back. I have checked with next doors plumber and he says he hasnt turned anything of
anyone any ideas???
Thanks in advance

next door has a plumber ? you should have your own individual system ? do you know what type your hot and cold water system are ie mains pressure communal tanks large cylinder in cuboard with little tank above it ?

find out what the plumber is doing there?.

he could be changing bathroom, cut into your pipe-work.

if you have a mixer tap, open hot and cold hold your hand over spout for a few seconds and this may sort it, or the plumber next door will be running around.

Hi. The bathroom sounds like it is gravity feed from a cold water storage cistern. (this is quite normal but kitchen sink of mains for drinking water)
The cistern may well be found in the roof space or top of cupboard. I have often found the cold feed pipes from cisterns to be blocked by insulation materials falling into cistern, mice, birds, socks and air, in fact all sorts. Its certainly worth checking before calling people out. Good Luck

Hi
The tank was done away with when the central heating went in and the conbi boiler, so mains feed. There is a seperate feed to the kitchen as it is on the other side of the house, but the bathroom has the no cold water problem??
