How many of you read the "Oil Installer" Oftec magazine?

We have been advertising regularly in the RGE Gas engineer mag with some success, and I was considering extending that into the world of oil.

I appreciate that the world of oil is not regulated in the way that gas is, and wondered whether you thought the oil mag was widely read by oil installers.

Thanks in advance for any input.

comes in the post regularly in the same manner as reg gas engineer mag, although most of the content is how well the oftec management has done!

It comes through the door and I read the bits that have bog all to do with oftec.

Oh yes.

But I already know about you :) :) :) I keep handing out the little brochures that I get with the deliveries to a few of the lads I know.

I religiously read it cover to cover.

Except your bit.

I shall sneer at it and your NI exclusion zone.

Reminds me. I've a review to go and write.....

Not to sound like a downer but you don't carry much in the way of oil stock.
possibly look at doing deals on danfoss nozzles and se if you can beat hwos on those.

Use that to get their foot in the bear trap that is your e commerce site :)

Hi Killy, good to see you back on the forum.

TBH, I'm more interested in selling the new boiler and the new oil tank than the nozzles. I would leave the spares side to those with expertise.

In the past we have always done oil boilers "to order" but with our additional space at Fareham, we now have the opportunity to stock - and therefore be more competitive. We already do very well with Grant, but not so good with Worcester - although I understand that their UK market shares are roughly equal.

I read gas safe installer twice a day once after breakfast & once normally after dinner, Once my Oftec reg goes through I might read gas safe in the morning & Oftec in the evening?

one mag either side of the John ;-)
