:bigcry:Good morning guys, I am new to this forum and came here in search of a little help. I have a Baxi Luna 1.240fi ( serial no, 51768500) (non combination) boiler that I have a problem with here in Cyprus.
The customer has asked us to attend the boiler for a pressure loss problem, we have replaced the primary pipes to the hot water coil in the cylinder but there is still a small leak within the radiator circuit which we cannot trace because everything is in concrete. We figured that some fernox F4 sealant would do the trick, so it was added.
The problem that I now have is the boiler failed shortly afterwards. The temperature rose very quickly and then the boiler shut down, upon re setting the boiler I noticed that the pump would switch its self on and off every second or so and the pressure switch would activate via the small plunger. But nothing else would work.
Naturally I checked the high limit stat and that was ok I have systematically checked the sensors, (measured around 11k ohms) switches and wiring ect. I have also stripped down the pump, auto bypass / pressure switch and there are no blockages in fact I do have circulation up to HW cylinder because it is pulling hot water back to the boiler from the solar system.
I have tried 3 circuit boards and they are all doing the same thing. I did notice that the fan has not worked and have checked the wiring and the coil resistance. I found no voltage to the fan. I have ordered a set of new sensors in case they might be faulty and giving a false reading. Sorry for the essay any help would be appreciated.
Regards Steve.

Sorry Steve.

Dunno what the regs are in Cyprus but forum rules prevent us discussing this in open forum.
