hi. wondering if someone might give me advice on problem with my potterton floor boiler about 45yrs old but with a new exchange 10yrs ago. noticed last week hot water was firing up but cutting out after 4minutes or less, if i switched to ch and hw, that would work, decided to flush system with sentinol x400 after leaving it for a week, ive just cheaked for sludge in and around base of cyinder no problem, renewed pump and valves, and filled system, all air removed and rads baking, felt pipework from pump into cylinder and from base of cylinder and these were hot. when i tried hot water tap no warmth whatsoever and mention ed pipes were completly cold . cant find a 3 way valve anywhere ??? my boiler has two pumps both working, i believe i have removed airlock if i had any but i might be wrong. hopefully i can sort this with some advice, many thanks stecod.
