In my level3 gas portfolio I need to do a service for a traditional boiler and a systems boiler

I have serviced a ideal classic rs40 which is open vented - is this classed as traditional boiler?

Also I have serviced a ideal classic rs250 with an expansion vessel which is a sealed system - could this be classed as a systems boiler as they both have the old style burner and balanced flies?

Yes to traditional but was the expansion vessel built into the rs250 ? if not then it to was traditional heat only.

I did the service a while ago so can't fully remember, from what I've seen on the net is that there is a standard explanation vessel for certain variants of the 250
