Hi,
My cold water tank takes a very long time to fill up!
The flow rate into the tank at the ballcock is very slow. Not much more than a driblle!
It looks like the pressure is very low, but the pressure to the rest of the house is quite good.
The kitchen tap, which I am sure also comes straight form the mains supply has excellent pressure. The rising main to the water tank and the kitchen tap are both on 15mm pipe, so I am puzzled as to why the kitchen tap has a good pressure, but the feed to the cold water tank which is also from the mains supply has a much lower pressure?
Would replacing the ballcock valve help, or could there be blockage somewhere in the rising main up to the cold water tank? Or are they all slow to fill up due gravity?
Any ideas much appreciated!
Thanks, Simon
