Just wondering has any one had any experience of which wood chip boiler, to be fitted in a hotel? Not sure yet what size it has to be.

Contact HETAS, they have a register of people who are qualified to do this work.

Hi. Interested to see what heat requirement is for the hotel as this will help influence boiler and choice of wood chip/pellet.

In terms of brands, I would suggest one of the Eta Hack range - Various capacities available from 20 - 350Kw from individual plants, which can also be cascaded to give higher outputs...

There are cheaper boilers available but I really like the Eta and have had virtually no issues with them, unlike some others.

The sizing and design of the whole system is absolutely critical for a Biomass system to be effective and efficient. Make sure that whoever you contract in to do the works is suitably qualified and experienced in this type of install, including forecasting fuel requirements and fuel storage / transport requirements.

Where abouts are you based, one of the members on here may be able to help you?
Welcome to the forum btw :)
