any of the lads on here subbing to “Yourrepair” , I saw an advert for them in last months gas safe mag looking for subbies,
Gave them a call had a chat showed my docs , you go online and fill out a form & put what your hourly rate is , they call you sign you up then you don’t hear from them for 2 weeks . I gave them a call to see if my account is active and they say lads in your area are repairing boilers for £30 an hour for them .
Just seeing if they’re saying this across every area to the lads .

Wouldn’t touch it mate.

I keep getting the job offers with PGS. Have a look at one part of their term and conditions.

So they want 45% of the job, make you wait 2-4 weeks for payment and don’t pay you if they don’t get paid. Are they having a f...... laugh.

That wouldn't stand up in court. If you did a job for them they have to pay you. I had a letting agent send me their terms I laughed all the way through it when she phoned back and asked what I thought I asked her if she had a legal department check over the terms as they would not be legally binding. (I have a solicitor brother in law who can check things over for me and convert it into English so I can understand)

Things like not having to pay you if there is a dispute until the dispute is sorted and they can dispute any they wish and I can't argue I have to give them all the details they want, if they don't get paid you don't get paid, basically these now seem to be common in larger companies.

I don’t know if it makes a difference Millsy but they want you to sign an agreement to the t’s&c’s. As soon as I saw them I gave it a swerve. They still keep sending me jobs through, luckily it only goes into my spam.
