Aqualisa From Pumped To Unpumped Processor

Can you just convert the Processor from the Fully Pumped over to the Un Pumped Processor if the installation is just at the moment Pumped but being converted to a Combi? Ideally want to keep the Ceiling Fed Kit Below and just be able to change the Processor? Will it Wire in the same and be able to use the Start / Stop below? Please can you let me know ASAP??? TY...

The pic shows the manual with both, the pumped is installed at mo but ideally want to change to unpumped for Combi. . .

I think so have to change the whole unit like you say eg from pumped to mains / high pressure but you can keep everything else I think

Yes you can just switch the processors around, all outlets, control panels and diverters are compatible with both the pumped and standard processors.

Never thought of doing this, I suppose there's no issues with It affecting warranty?

No, not getting 1 in pic, that was just off FLEABAY just to answer my original question. Ill source a new unit. Normally would of spoke to Aqual for Tech but was closed when needed them LOL. . . Q answered here though. . .

How do you do it? Push fit sockets onto the stems, take it to copper and then compress a full bore valve onto the copper or do you attach the valves direct to the plastic stems on the valve.

Over the years, using both the grey & black processors, I've done both. What dictated which was used, was simply ease of pipework access.

The last one was approx 18 mths ago and that was direct onto the plastic stems on the supplies and via a pulled bend on the output.

25 years plumbing and installing countless versions of these showers I did not know you could not do just switch them over.

(Although I have never needed to).

MRB. Every day is a school day

If you look closely you'll see that the label is split into the two types of processor. The RH one is the pumped version & the LH one the HP version.

Truth is it's a little confusing. It's all about Aqualisa saving money to use a common label.

If you look at the cover of the processors you will see that the pumped and standard versions have different pressure ratings. The pumped are only rated for low pressure where the standard versions are rated for higher pressure. I found out the hard way

As Dave said, it's a money saver for aqualisa so they only produce one pcb for both the standard and pumped versions. And probably a money maker as your forced to change the processor if you change your system.
