That's quite a drop in new boilers sold compared to last year, what does the report conclude as to why that is?

Market saturation, less new builds, stagnant housing market, more uptake of regular maintenance programs...

Its 26 pages long but it concludes that pre brexit stockpiling has concluded. The rise of the system boiler is intresting 7% up

The housing market is very fragmented..5% drop in new starts in Cornwall but 73% rise in Merseyside, I will try and find that bit later.

We are going to crunch the figures above.
Question 1...how many new boiler installs do you do on average per year ?
Question 2 ...for an average 3 bed one bathrooom 7 rad combi system how many days ?
I will put the results up on here

this only works if we have 10 +
replies I think the results might be quite intresting. chking

Cost savings come to mind, last year we did the heating in a joint venture council and a private property developer investor.
prior to demolition there were 700+ individual gas boilers, the new estate was rebuild and added 400 more properties all run now from 10 gas boilers-2 are back up boilers. District/communal heating with metered hiu's in each flat or house.
Cost savings to the landlord are the key,no need to annually service-maintain individual gas boilers any more. The plant rooms are under remote surveillance allowing more cash savings.

The only gas into the estate is to the boiler plant rooms only. Its now a common installation method.

How things have moved on in the gas world, what next :(
