Started off I slept through my alarm (I haven't done that in about 10 years)

My analyser ran out of charge so I plugged it in then forgot to unplug I noticed this after driving from falmouth to newquay which took about an hour. Luckily I just had enough charge to do the 2 services.

I found out checkatrade have swapped my number to one of theirs.

After picking up my charger for my analyser driving back to do my last job then go for a surf my clutch goes funny then goes completely so had to drive about 10 miles with only 3rd gear and no clutch.

I cant fit my usual surfboards in my girlfriends car so they are in my van in the garage now got to take out a surfboard I struggle on to get rid of some stress.

Blimey. Sorry to hear that mate. I’ve had an awesome day. Got up, had breakfast. Drove from Mawgan Porth to Tintagel Castle. Weather held off (cracking time) drove back and had a BBQ. No surf for me. Can only just swim;):p

Never been tintagel have they got the new bridge open yet? My missus might not mind walking it with the bridge.

Bad day at the office for sure bud hope it's not to expensive for repairs . Kop

The van isn't the thing that has me the most worried. I probably got around 25-30k off checkatrade since the start of the year so am worried A) my price is going to be sky high B) they are going to use these managed contracts to somehow syphon work off me.

Lucky enough to be self sufficient for work and never even advertised or used one of those companies, dont they make enough of you already I saw it quoted on here that they put their membership fees up not that long ago , maybe time to find another agency have a look on LinkedIn some outfits starting up want quality installers, all the best kop

Yeah they almost doubled their price in a year .

Yeah going to have a look and see what is my next option. Never used LinkedIn will look into that later.

Yes mate. The kids loved it. Bit bouncy in the middle as the 2 sides aren’t technically connected.

Struggle to get rid of stress Millsy??????

Get on a couple of your substances, or mix a cocktail of them - that should help!!!!

I use surfing to get rid of stress thanks. Never used to use drugs for stress back in the day either just to have a good time which we always did. But thank you for your concern.

I must have drove past that castle a million times and never been to it lol.
Just tell checkatrade your mate got a call off them saying 50 quid a month.
They will drop the price quick sharp

Crap prices under 400 for a Combi swap

£400 is better than some shaun and if you don't have work then I'd do it . Kop

True but then it would be better to go employed better pay and less stress

Depends on what's involved though. I can have a heating system piped and on the wall by 12. If electrics a little tricky chuck a fly lead on with plug, do condense, prv patching up etc whilst flushing. Whilst draining wire up properly, fill out paperwork finish by 5 I would happily do that for 400.
