Hi Everyone,
Just thought I'd post a picture showing a whole new approach of terminating a fanned flue.
Installed by a loft conversion specialist!!!(more likely a family friend.)

Being binary and practical although it is ugly as sin, is there really anything wrong with this installation...from a 'Registered Professional Gas Engineer' point of view ..centralheatking

Yes it's wrong. Incorrect termination with no approved pitched roof flashing. There should be 'No white in sight' I can't see any flue support brackets, incorrect fall & the joints are not screwed to stop them coming apart or twisting. I could go on but these are the real no-no's.

Well CHK you tell us what right about it ? my fellow engineers have covered it well above , the installer needs to be brought to book and made to retrain this type of install is totally unacceptable, would you be happy with that install in your property ? I somehow think not. Kop
