Hi,

I have a Warmflow 70/90 deluxe oil boiler (approx. 23 years old) and the high limit thermostat has tripped (I probably had the boiler stay turned up too high). The orange light is on but I can’t seem to locate the reset button on this model anywhere.
If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
I have attached a photo of the unit.
Many thanks.
Steve

Cant tell you exactly where but as above pull front door off and look under electrical control panel, you should find a manual push reset button or a cap you undo to press a button. Having said that if the problem happens again you need an oil engineer out to check it over. It could be as simple as the boiler stat phial has become misplaced or its failed altogether.

it is possibly under the housing for the electrics pull the door forward and look upwards may be there probably a red colour just push it up if it has tripped then you will hear a click

thanks Gasmk1, much appreciated. Found it under the control panel/electrics housing. Just didn’t look like a button that could be pushed at first. Photo for others in case they’re not sure...

So now you know where it is. I can see what looks like the capillary for stat leading into port, so that suggests it's in place, unless it's the limit stat capillary. If it happens again come back to us and we can help

And to add to the above ^^ post, - that Warmflow boiler has no means of preventing the control and limit stat probes from getting accidentally pulled out, so would advise the OP to be careful to always check that.
All they used to have was a piece of fibre cord shoved in to keep the probes held
