Here is a classic example of why oil tanks should be installed correctly, with adequate spill and fire protection. This is what my sisters house mate managed to do to their shed yesterday. In the their garden is also a large double bunded plastic oil tank. Fortunately the tank was installed to my understanding correctly and nowhere near the shed. That fire would have been a whole lot worse with the tank butted up to a shed and without the minimum distances and fire protection.
