Evening,
New to the gas world
I have come across a corroded flue, holes in the air intake inside the building. I labelled the boiler I.d and disconnected it from the gas supply its a 13 year old boiler does this need to be riddor?

No you don’t but here’s a question why do you riddor ?

In the gas engineer section of

"Fittings that are dangerous solely due to lack of maintenance are not reportable"

but you really need to read the whole document (site) and if still in doubt seek advice from your employer's safety officer or the HSE.

If it is a room sealed appliance, it is only Riddor reportable for flue issues if:

There is leakage of products of combustion due to unsatisfactory fittings or workmanship.

If the flue system is enclosed and showing signs of distress - Reg 27 or 28

Probably best to speak to Gas Safe about your concerns, who will give guidance as to how to proceed.

If you don’t want to do that, there is a non Riddor part of the HSE website where you can report concerns anonymously ( spelling ??).
