Hi all,

Just replaced tap in kitchen as old one was leaking, previous owner had connected using copper pipe and the isolation valve for the hot is to far away to connect to flexi, I know I could add a bit of pipe and adapter but the cost of buying all the bits far exceeded just getting a long tap tail.

The problem I'm having is I've brought two tails with M10 connectors now and although they screw in ok both have leaked, looking at the included tail it definitely seems like it's M10 but is it usually written anywhere on the tail? Brought the tap a while ago when a homebase near me was closing and I think its Bunnings stock if that makes a difference.

It could just be cheapy rubbish parts are I'm having to buy of amazon as I'm shielding and needed it quick and have prime so it's certainly possible but if so can anyone direct to a decent 10mm tail 500m length on amazon?

P.s before someone mentions about two isolation valves, it's a spare I had that I'm using screwed onto the hot tail to stop it leaking from tap as whoever installed the original didn't fit an isolation on the cold so only way I could get water on until replacement 😅
