I am completely clueless about heating, so I hope one of you knowledgeable souls can help. My mother is bedbound with dementia, and I am trying to understand her heating system. The house and heating system is about 40 years old, I think, but the gas boiler was changed maybe 10 years ago. It is a Glow-worm Flexicom 12HX, and there is a Grundfos water pump in the airing cupboard next to the water tank. The issue I have is that the bathroom radiator seems to be always on, even when the central heating is not. It has a cable attached to it, but I don't know where it leads. Picture attached. I wondered if the radiator was dual fuel, but I seems it's too old for that, and I can't see any element. Has anyone experience of such a thing, and can tell me what is going on? Apologies in advance for any stupidity in the way I have described it!
