Hi guys

Any of you folk have any experience fitting the above?

Yep the good old drippy tap

Am I right in thinking that the incoming cold goes straight into the cold flex on the tap and then the other cold flex goes into the heater? Then obviously the hot flex goes onto the outlet of the heater?
I’ve only really fitted the Ariston heaters that require the vessel and prv.
This one just seems weird.

Yes cold mains to the cold tap in
Hot flexi to the heater cold connection
The last connection will always be open this is the hot from the heater to the tap

This is what I’m working to, it just looks weird for some reason.
So the cold mains goes directly into the tap which then goes back down the blue flex to fill the tank and then red flex is for the vent and hot water? Mad
Oh and it needs an iso and flow restrictor I think on the mains cold before the flex.

Nope normal the heater gets filled when you open the hot tap eg hot and cold are linked in the tap, close / shut this and the heater still has an open vent eg when heating it’s normal for it to drip DONT TIGHTEN the tap more eg close more

Sorry mate.
Are you saying that im wrong or the drawing above is wrong?
I can’t seem to get my head round this. I’m probably overthinking it as usual.
To me, it looks like all I need is a cold feed to a flex in the tap and then the other 2 flexis connect into the tank??
Am I getting that wrong?
Cheers
