Working on the forum this week (mon 13th 2025 onwards)

I have upgraded the forum and whilst the content you add to posts is loading fine from Amazon EU datacenter, the style the forum uses is still trying to load from our own server and it isn't there, its on Amazon lol

So I'm just changing some files and then making a copy for both places for now while I work through the code and customise the style to how it was before.

Some people may see the blue loaded page correctly. But it may keep flicking back.

If you use the drop down at the bottom left (very very bottom) there's a style chooser and you need to be on 2025 one. If yours isn't, change it there and it may come back blue for you.

But for me it's white page black text and no borders to even show you where to type!


So wing it with me a few days while I get through this.

It gives me the choice of,
System
Light
Dark

No choice of 2025 so I assume I'm on it.

If it's on System, I see blue top banner and blue menu titles, black text
On Light it doesn't seem to change anything.
On Dark, it goes Black / Dark grey background, white text, but still blue titles

System is fine for me.

System means it matches your phone or Tabley or computer system.

So if your phone is on night mode (bed mode some call it, with blue light filter etc) it'll change the forum setting for you to match.

So the two options are light or dark. And both should be working now. Light being normal daylight mode, so blue and white/grey. Dark are all dark colours so it doesn't hurt your eyes at night.

If it's still buggy now it should just be a local cache issue (so your device just needs fetch a new copy of the forum) which should correct overnight (4hrs).

Yeah I've upgraded it mate looks like you've got a bad cache of the forum but it should auto update.

Scroll to the very bottom of the page and change the style to

"PLUMBERS TALK EDIT THIS"

if it's not already on it matey.
