    I watched a video and it went in about S-traps self spyhoning after discharge and said they were band in the USA. This isn't the case in the UK?

    Im looking at it. If put a Dudley in would I be able to remove the yellow pin to split it? As the front of the syphon looks close to the cistern.

    No it wouldn't would be best to replace with a Dudley 3 part one or just an adjustable height one.

    If I take the cistern off and take the syphon out would any 1.5inch syphon washer fit to seal it. It's leaking through the seal were the syphon sits on the cistern. Tried tightening in place no look.

    Has anyone fit inline expansion valve on the cold water supply to an unvented cylinder. The normal style were you just tee of after the composite valve can leave a dead leg in the pipework? A local water authority has pulled some. Thanks

    Heat pump hot water cylinders

    Has anyone fit the hot water cylinders with a little heat pump on the top that has ducts to bring inside and outside air in to the unit. Piping up wise is it just the same as a normal direct cylinder?

    How well does bunging the cold feed and Open vent work

    Have a radiator to swap. I'm thinking of piping back to the current supplies. The rad is slightly smaller. The connecting on the the old pipes at the end one by one. Would using bungs in the open vent a cold feed create enough of a vacuum for me to do this? Which a drain down. Thanks

    One pipe system condensing boiler.

    Would a one pipe system work efficiently on a condensing boiler as the return type would likely be below 54c all the time. So the boiler would run in condensing mode. Alot of condensing boilers don't run in condensing mode.

    Can you test zone valves electrically to find out what may be at fault?
