    DIY Purge stacks

    Mine was a length of 35mm with a blank on the bottom and a flame arrestor on top Two tees with valves , one for the purge hose and one for the sniffer I would doubt the HSE will know anything about nitrogen, may be best to have barriers, cones, fire extinguishers, signage, method statements etc...

    combi, storage combi or unvented?

    For a house with one bathroom, one ensuite, downstairs toilet, kitchen and utility 17 lpm at the kitchen tap They have a combi at the moment and get by but what would you recommend for the replacement?

    Flue through a timber wall

    I'm going to fit a new combi and the flue will go through a timber wall Its a standard telescopic horizontal flue (Worcester greenstar 30i) Do I need to do anything differently? Sleeve the flue? Thanks :)

    Worcester controls compatability

    Does anyone know if any of the new Worcester controls are compatible with an older junior combi? Not sure which mark it is but it only has a temp dial for heating. Cant find much on the Worcester site but im sure there was a document kicking about showing compatibility

    solvent weld waste on UVHWC

    Working on a site where they are taking the discharge from unvented cylinders to a soil stack with solvent weld waste. Every thing else is up to regs but I always thought solvent weld was not allowed. Am I wrong?

    WB filling link with the key

    Anyone know if on the WB filling link with the key you can remove the check valve bit? I need to fill a ch system from a tank supply then top up with a hand pump to flush and commission before the mains gets connected
