    worcester junior 28 i greenstar

    done a flue gas analyser check on this model,got a reading of 0.0016 ,fan speed ok,heat input ok,i gave heat exchanger a clean,tested again got a reading of 0.0016, i phoned tech department up they said as long as ppm were below 200 ,and this reading shows that they were, they said alls ok...

    worcester junior 24 i flue gas analyser results

    i did a check on this boiler and i got a reading of .0009 and a co2 % of 10.3%, i looked in mi and it asked for a % of 9.8 but it did not give any parameters is there a method to work this out ,or does anyone know for this model is it acceptable

    heat input or output

    when gas rateing an appliance ,modulating burner an old timer told me the final calculated kw outcome should be more in line with the mi heat output not heat input.

    plastic air vent

    if you find a mesh type plastic open and shut air vent in a situation were it does affect combustion or flame picture,flueing etc,what would you do a.r or n.c.s.the situation i found it in was a back boiler, fire and the ventilation requirments were adequate other than the un suitable vent

    spur or own elec supply to boiler

    can anyone clear this matter up for me,i was told of an electrician friend that all heating systems should have there own independent supply from consumer unit,i have and i'm sure many others have got the elec supply from a spur or even in some case put a 3 point plug 3amp fuse and away you go...

    exspansion vessel

    why would you put one of those small shock absorber type exspansion vessel on the incoming cold supply to a combi boiler,water pressure not excessive,no unwanted noise prior to been fitted.any other reasons,please enlighten me?

    mini c24 combi boiler

    fires up for hot water when ch is ask ed for nothing,if running hot tap and asking for ch,when i close hot tap ,ch will fire for 10 seconds then knocks off,any ideas boiler now firing for short time in both ch and hw ,but after 25 seconds boiler lockout red light comes on,gas cut.

    fault on boiler red light flashing fast tested all heat sensors and air pressure switch all ok,but i have noticed on the circuit board one of the white plastic thin oblong box connection on left hand side of board at bottom flashes and clicks and fault occurs,how can i find what this connection...

    when i switch on it goes through the motions then fires ,it is ok for 3 min when flames seem to play up then it will go out and flashing light comes on (fast).it does this in both central heating and hot water.any ideas please.
