fastening threaded rod to brick work

Evening all. I need to do the above. Now I have looked online at lots of different anchors but none that seem to be good for brick work. Drop in anchors are only good for concrete apparently. I am just needing to fit a few pipes and a flue so not really that much load on it. What about these...

    WB system boiler wiring

Hi chaps. Need a bit of advice on this. Taken out an old vokera system boiler and fitting a wb system boiler. The wb says in the manual that the switching part needs a neutral. So this will mean 6 wires from the wiring centre and into the boiler. I only have 5 from the old system. Is it...

    brass crimps for electric terminals

You know when you get a cable on a boiler that has the crimps on them, can you buy them? It is so much easier to put them in the block when they have these on. I have been frustrated enough doing it with the strands going all over the shop

    radiator extension piece

Anyone know of a good make that does not leak. I know it's pretty much a diy fix but the client wants it done this way rather than a drain down. They are behind raditor covers so won't be seen.

    potterton ep2002 problem

Ok, so the 3 port valve was knackered. So I change it. Now the only way I can have heating on is if the hot water 8 selected on the programmer. It will turn on and off with the room thermostat, and also stat on when the cylinder stat is satisfied. You can only choose the same times for both so...

    WB 24i Junior fault

What do you use as in a little connector to be able to get your multimeter to read the voltages. I couldn't get my prongs in the connector on the end of the fan. Any way, the fault I have is intermittent. The blue light flashes fast but with no lockout. It says in manual volatile fault...

    Air or potterton suprima issue

This system in hot water only seems to create lots air which I cannot get rid of. I have put air vents on both the flow and return connections on the coil but they don't help. The air seems to come round every minute or so and you will hear it really loudly. But what might be the cause is the...

I have just installed this boiler. Nice fancy user interface. In service mode in max rate I am getting O2 4.2 co2 9.5 Co ppm 129 Ratio .0013 Ratio and co is quite high. Usually when commissioning a new boiler I get a ratio of around .0007 and about 70 ppm co. Pipe...

    running new gas carcass.

So, I need to run a new gas pipe around the side of a house to a new boiler. The old pipe goes under the ground all the way to the back of the house to boiler and oven. Is it okay to disconnect the boiler from this (as running new 28mm supply at side of house) and leave the oven on it? Or is it...
