    I'm sitting my renewal for gas safe this week. Just found out my unvented had ran out in 2014 (sept) when I took it, they said it was for life. It was still on my gas safe card which ran out November 2015. when did that change. ?? what could have changed that much on unvented in that time...

    Not sure about other manufacturers other than Vaillant. Buy why is a combi cheaper than a system boiler?? as a system boiler is basically a combi robbed of some bits! surlelt they should be cheaper.?:89:

    Open vent boiler

    Usually fit vaillants, but need to replace a large floor standing boiler in a cellar. Looking at two 24 kW heat only. Don't want to pressurise it, as its a mixture of old and new rads and pipework. never been happy with open vent Vaillant. So can someone recommend me another manufacturer?

    Work boots for hot weather

    Probably been done before, but has anyone had good experience of work boots or trainers that are cool in summer. Must have toe caps ( steel or Kevlar) my feet are killing me with the hot weather. Do good socks mske any difference too?
