    No hot water in bath tap

    Basin and Bath waste pipe

    The basin waste runs horizontally for about 2m in 32mm and the bath waste runs for about 1m before they meet and tee together.     Why would cold mains feeding the boiler need an expansion vessel?

    Soil stack and waste

    Check out this lovely work!! Waste from basin into guttering which runs into the ground.... Just have a look at the pics. Is it acceptable to run waste into? guttering Would you work with what there is to some degree making some(a lot)alterations or strip it back and start again?

    Mixer taps with shower hose/head connection

    The hot and cold from the taps run fine but only the hot runs through the shower head. What would I need to replace to get the cold running back through the shower head?

    Vent pipe into cws in attic

    So the cws in the attic needs to be moved a few metres. Is it ok to run the vent pipe across from the existing pipe work with a slight rise to where the new position of the cws is? Please tell me what the best practice is here?

    Pressure to shower head

    See pics. They want more pressure to the shower head but want the cheapest option. Any suggestions? Water pressure to the bathroom is good it's just the shower head that's a bit tame. My suggestion would be to fit a new bar shower and a pump. What else could be done?

    Flue bracket regulations

    The flue runs up from the boiler into the attic. There are then two 45 degree elbows before the flue runs out to the rroof.The flue runs parallel from the boiler to the bit going out of the roof with an angled bit in-between. Where by regs should the brackets go and how many will be needed?

    Cistern overflows to pan when the shower is running.

    The toilet cistern overflows into the pan when the shower on the floor below is running. Why would this be? They say the shower seems low on pressure recently. Again why would this be and what is the connection between the problems if there is one?

    Cast iron soil stack

    Dudley syphon. Flushes first time but won't flush again for a few minutes although cistern is full

    Dudley japtic syphon. The first flush works fine, the cistern fills up fully straight afterwards, but when you try to flush again it doesn't flush. You can try a few more times and it still won't flush. Leave it 3-4 minutes and it flushes fine again. Should I just replace the syphon or washer...
