    price of petrol up n up? Do you need to put hourly rate up?

    Has anyone put their prices up due to the rise in fuel over the last month or so? Seriously it's 10p more than in February . I do quite few small trips and allow about £3 per journey. But think I need to up it. How do you other ,one man bands, calculate the fuel costs? Any tips? :rolleyes:

    Scummy F+E tank in a tiny kind of loft space.

    I've seen brown scum in Fe tanks but not this white scum. I would replace tank after PF but what would you guys do? I've had so much trouble with old systems.... Air , noise, pumps failing, scuz playing havoc after drain down... What's the protocol for whipping Fe out and converting to sealed...

    ever seen this? plastic pipe most probably from around 15+years ago

    Is this old Hep20 with brass push fittings and is is ok to use with the new white hep20 fittings and inserts? Cream pipe22mm and dark brown 15mm. Any thoughts guys? The 15mm says CARTOL ACORN-BP. I need to reroute, would like to use hep20 as replacement .

    F85 on brand new Vaillant, ecotec plus, 418, STRESS

    bathroom extractor fan

    Hi Guys Can I wire in a bathroom extractor?. Cables are in solid ceiling. Can only access cord pull for light and light fitting- seems like there's L N E in the light fitting and L SL in the fitting - the fan has a timer I think I got the wrong one. Cheers ted :willy_nilly:

    twin Vaillant 428's - odd problem

    Job presented as a leak- aav dribbling! Temp shut it- going back to replace. This is an open vented system, with twin Vailant 428 boilers. Anyhows boiler has F23 fault on - I reset and fired up... Made a helluva racket and went to F22! Checked f+e ... It's full even a bit too full? I drained...

    BG 330- ?glowworm HE?

    Hi customer has had F1 fault on this boiler. Checked flue . condense and gap on electrodes~ had to replace them as gasket ripped so can't only buy gasket ~new electrodes. Boiler OK for a month now coming up with F1 fault code again. Any pointers appreciated. Thanks
