    Basin/bath backnut spanners

    Can find absolutely nothing to fit some of the older backnuts or the newer ones which Bristan seem to be fitting.     Vaillant VRT350F Problems

    Just fitted a Vaillant Ecotec+325 with VRT350F wireless programmer/timer. Was working ok for a few days then customer phoned to say that heating was on all the time despite stat showing actual temp 25 deg c (Was clearly nowhere near that warm!) and desired temp 18 deg c.     Seems to be more and more customers asking me to fit a boiler they've bought. Where do you all stand on this? Had one or two asking me to do them a list of what they need and they'll get it on tinternet, I tell em to order someone to fit it while they're at it!

    Anyone done an online course for cert? Most subbing jobs now require one. Did a course about 6 years ago but there was an expiry date on the cert...... I'm guessing asbestos has mutated or summat to justify doing a course every couple of years!!

    Flue close to non - opening window

    1900mm wide radiator

    Anyone know where I can get hold of a 1900mm wide radiator for a customer? Solid wood floor, doesn't want rad extensions or fittings in the pipework! Told her she gonna be lucky. Tried the usual companies i.e. Stelrad, Quinns etc and all my usual suppliers and can only get 1800 or 2000. :32:

    PRV on W/B Greenstar 28i Junior

    Got a customer with a constantly leaking PRV. Just had a look through the manual and it says the hydraulic block has to be removed to replace! Has anyone done one of these and can it be changed without stripping half the boiler out?!

    Ideal Isar intermittent hot water

    Customer phoned with the above problem but I am unable to get to see the job until Saturday so I phoned Ideal tech services and was told it would be the plate heat ex. crapped up. Just wondering roughly how long it takes and how difficult/awkward it is to remove, flush out and replace. Thanks
