    unvented cylinders

    are all unvented cylinder imersion heater bosses the same size the one i am changing is a 2inch thread also the cylinder is just over 2 years old and the 2 elements have gone already they have a sticker telling you on the stat not to adjust it is set at 60 degrees the one i changed i put it down...

    problem on a ideal classic lxff260

    i did a service to a ff260 and the fan was making a noise so i changed the fan , tried to start the boiler up and it wouldnt fire , so i changed the pressure switch it still wouldn't fire , i am only getting live to no and nc and not common ; i phoned ideal and they said check the flue etc...

    large size box spanners

    anybody know where i can get box spanners for for 1 1/4 -1 1/2 waste nuts , i have had a couple of jobs lately where access was tight and it would have been a lot easier with a box spanner i struggled with a large claw on my basin wrench

    boiler for a swimming pool

    any of you guys ever fitted a boiler for a swimming pool ? he has had one quote from the swimming pool engineer who want to do a like for like swap, and he is getting advice from the plumbers merchant to put another boiler in and adapt the pipe work. so he wants me to have a look does it have...
