    LARGE HEAT ONLY BOILERS

    Looking to get a 40kw or 42kw heat only boiler for a largish house. already done heat loss to these values. was going to use and pressurise with external expansion vessel. Vaillant tech suggested they had a boiler to suit but i cannot find it? Anyone know if they do one ( it is for domestic use)...

    Vaillant 838 operations

    Fitted a Vaillant 838 Eco Tech plus combination boiler to a property 6 weeks ago. all fine. Customer called in to say that the boiler had locked out on F54 and F28.     13yr old worcester 24i.

    have not been there yet, but customer complaining of no heating but has hot water. no diverter valve in the boiler and dual heat exchanger. apparently no room stat so must be linked out. they control the heating from the mechanical clock on the boiler. intend linking out the clock to confirm...

    External expansion vessel.

    Well, I have to go back to a heating job where the boiler expansion vessel needs changing,. For a number of reasons I intend fitting an external one. I am going to put it below the boiler using a half inch to 15mm adaptor, to 15mm then to a flexible hose to connect to the return to the boiler...
