Hi, I have purchased a new toilet and the instructions are C*ap. It doesn't tell you anything about how it should be setup. 1. There is not water level mark in the Cistern. So I don't know where my fill line is. 2. The flush value level is more of less inline with the top of the Cistern...

Should I use a flexible waste connector?

Hi, I am trying to install a new basin, and have just realised that that the bottle trap is offset from the basins waste outlet. This is because the pipework had been previously made to fit the old basin. I'd say that the length I need from the basins waste to the bottle trap is about 6-7...

Hi, I've just had new Boiler installed and noticed that they never put in a Magnetic Filter. I thought that it was standard practice these days? The installers we used on another installation put in a Magnaclean on the Heating return. Thanks

Leaking immersion element and drain tap problem

Hi my boiler has two elements. And both of them needed changing. The top one went in ok but the bottom one has sprung a small drip. We have put PTFE tape and LSX around it. But it is still dripping, so it could be that the gasket failed somehow. I also had a big problem draining the tank...
