Check incoming mains pressure and flowrates , it has to be close to manufacturers spec .
Check temp over 60 degrees , drop to 55/60 .
Check incoming pressure if its under 3 bar ( ie PRV isnt working , reduce expansion vessel to a touch below incoming mains...
Pretty new boiler this guys , went to service it earlier today , service got abandoned because the bleeding thing would not go in to high fire , rang Vaillant, no joy , emailed them , no reply yet , anybody know how to do it , cheers in advance .
I am having fun with a Ideal mini 24 KW combi at the moment ( yes the one that drenched me last week ) these are a re-badged Biasi. Ideal fault finding instructions for it is garbage , I just wondered if anybody knows its Biasi name and they may possibly have better instructions.

Ehup peeps , a customer has asked me to fit a new quadrant enclosure on to an existing tray .
I have never done it before and always like the tray and enclosure to come from the same manufacturer to ensure its fits .
Anybody done one just fitting the enclosure ??

Customer wants a nest fitting to his Viessmann , I have never done one , have no idea how you fit them , wire them and get them ready for wifi / net etc etc .
I know they have nest pro’s and I am tempted to push hime towards one.
Are they straightforward ? , I cant find any...
Last week myself and Mrs TFJ caught up with our friends who bought an old nact up Italian farmhouse in the foothills of the Italian Alps. The whole house is wired like this , all exposed twin and earth fixed with metal nails / pins. PMSL , if anybody thinks our sparkie pals might want a laugh...

Customer has a one pipe system and wants a small towel rad in a downstairs toilet, but I cant get under the floor to plumb the towel rad into the one pipe , but can get to the pipe by lifting another rooms floor , and sliding some...
