    So thats why it won’t fire

    Worcester danesmoor. Customer ring to say they have been resetting the boiler for weeks. Ran out of oil and sucked sludge right through from the tank, right into the pump. Cleaned out and got it to go, but fitting a new pump on Thursday .

    Pressure testing time

    Had one un crimped fitting (socket) other than than, no probs. Mind you the fitting held 5 bar before blowing off!! Was like a fire hydrant.

    Little underfloor job

    Started thus one a couple of days ago. 6 manifolds. 5x 12 port, 1 x 11 port. 37kw in total and nearly 3400 m of pipe just downstairs! this one room has 9 loops with 700m of pipe.

    Flow rate from electric shower

    Can anyone tell me what flow rate to expect from a 9.5kw shower? Got to attend a rental house where the customer is complaining about lack of flow. It could be a blockage in the shower, or head. But would like to measure the rate, in case I need to explain that they will only pass so much. cheers.

    Ba I megaflo GA black flue terminal

    Got a customer with two of these. They are 3 years old and the terminals were white. He had them sprayed black to match the down pipes, but after a year or so, it's coming off. can you just get the black terminal, like the Vaillant ones. Or will it mean getting two complete black flue kits...

    Uponor mclp fittings

    I have around 100 mclp crimp fittings in 16mm, 20 & 25mm. Tees elbows and sockets. Reason for sale is, main builder where I have to use plastic pipe, likes Uponor Q&E so I haven't used any for a year. if anyone uses mclp crimp fittings post on this thread.
