    Use compression joints on a combi system?

    I have to replace an old rad in a bathroom with a towel rad. I can freeze the pipes but would prefer to use compression than solder as only have 12 inches before freeze head. Is it OK to use compression in such circumstances? Any thoughts much appreciated.

    Price for new boiler

    Can anyone give me an idea the cost of supply and fitting a new combi boiler (middle of price range) for a mid terrace 60's house with three bedrooms and through lounge and kitchen. The eight radiators will need to be replaced as well. Any help given would be much appreciated.

    Adjustable radiator valve?

    Is there such a thing as an adjustable rad valve connector. I have found the ones that adjust up and down but need an extra 30mm to connect my tails to a new towel rad so need one that adjusts sideways.

    Connecting 15mm copper to chrome 15mm

    Can I use a straight Speedfit connector to join a 15mm copper pipe to a 15mm chrome plated copper pipe? I am wondering if the chrome plate will be to shiny to get a good grip. Regards,
